Keith K's Fretless P-style Click on picture to view full size version This one started out as a standard fretted bass, but once it was completed I removed the frets with the aid of a soldering iron and a pair of pliers. I then filled the fret slots with Minwax wood filler, sanded the hell out of it, and applied several coats of polyurethane with light sanding in between. The result, when strung with fresh Fender Flatwound strings, is a funky extremely-bass-heavy fretless with a neck as smooth as a baby's bottom. |
